Larrea one fateful day while walking her dogs, a most perilous activity indeed, discovered that the sapphire ring passed down from her grandmother was no longer upon her finger. In a rush she flew through territory both familiar and alien, searching far and wide to find the precious object, but alas it was for naught. Lost to the darkness, gone forever, or so she thought.
Five. Years. Later. She paces the path once more, a mile from home, and spies a glimmer upon the ground. Stooping to inspect, her heart races and mind befuddles, how can this be? The exact ring, sitting there before her, no worse for wear. It is unknown to the writer what jaunty japes this jewelry may have experienced in those five long years, but suffice it to say that the losing and the finding are two ends of a nonetheless unforgettable tale.
Oh also Larrea and her brother Robin entered a design contest in Detroit and TOOK HOME THE W !!!
Yes she did!
