"Match Made on Stage" is an event hosted in the lower level of The Congregation, a local Detroit cafe and bar that occupies an old stone church building. It's really less of a speed dating event and more of a comedy stage show styled after some popular reality TV series. Not that Decker ever needed an excuse to tell stories to an audience, but this made the perfect occasion for it.

 

Though he didn't feel many sparks with the girl across the stage from him, there was a certain lovely redhead in the crowd making eyes at him while he was performing and eye-witnesses say they left the venue together hand-in-hand.

 

Also Decker's family came for a visit and stayed in our luxurious Highland Park Manor. We went for dinner at many different local restaurants, began several home restoration projects, and managed to peacefully coexist the entire time.
